Unboxing and Preparing the Device #

  • Begin by unboxing all equipment and removing the T650C payment device from the box.

Loading Paper into the Device #

  1. Open the paper door:
    • Press the sides inward and lift up.
  2. Insert the paper roll:
    • Ensure the paper feeds from underneath the roll, not over the top.
  3. Close the paper door:
    • Let the paper extend past the door and press down until it clicks shut.

Powering On the Device #

  1. Remove the back cover:
    • Push down on the rectangular button and slide the cover off.
  2. Plug in the power cord:
    • Insert the cord into the far left port inside the device.
  3. Secure the wire:
    • Feed it through the top and replace the cover.
  4. Turn on the device:
    • Hold the power button on the left-hand side for three seconds.

Setting Up the Payment Device #

  1. Activate the device and adjust settings:
    • Select your preferred language.
  2. Connect to the internet:
    • Select your Wi-Fi network and enter the password.
    • If using Ethernet, select Skip and plug the cable into the port labeled ETH on the back.
  3. Enter the Device ID:
    • Find this ID in your email from Verifone or on the packing slip in the box.
  4. Download necessary updates:
    • The device will automatically begin downloads, which can take up to 30 minutes.
    • Ensure the device remains on and connected to the internet during this process.

Setting Up Delta First Software #

  1. Log in to Delta First:
    • Check your inbox for an email titled, “Your Delta First Point of Sale Site is Ready for Use.”
    • This email contains your URL and login credentials.
  2. Enter your subdomain on the payment device.
  3. Log in using your username and password.

  • After completing these steps, your T650C device should be ready for use.
