Introduction to Resources and Calendar Modules #

  • The resources and calendar modules enable appointment scheduling within Delta First.

Setting Up Resources #

  • Access the resources module to add:
    • Rooms
    • Tables
    • Chairs
  • For each resource, input:
    • Name
    • Services provided
    • Available days
    • Available times per day

Linking Resources to the Calendar #

  • Resources are displayed in the calendar module.
  • Available time slots are shown beneath each resource.

Scheduling an Appointment #

  • Click on the desired time slot.
  • Add customer information.
  • Select the service to be provided.
  • Assign a specific service provider if necessary.

Managing Appointment Details #

  • The service duration is pre-populated.
  • Add internal notes.
  • View past or upcoming appointments for the customer.
  • Save the appointment, blocking the selected time slot (e.g., 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM for David Bowen).

Editing and Canceling Appointments #

  • Appointments can be:
    • Edited
    • Canceled
    • Deleted

Adding Retail Products to Appointments #

  • Navigate to retail products to add additional services or products.
  • Example products: Backscratcher, head scratcher.

Checkout Process #

  • On the checkout screen, select payment method:
    • Credit card
    • Cash
    • Check
    • Virtual terminal
    • Pay by link
  • Example: Select cash and accept tender.

Finalizing the Appointment #

  • Send an email receipt if needed.
  • Completed appointments are indicated by a green color on the calendar.
