Variants Module

Overview of the Variants Module #

• The Variants Module allows for easy management of products with multiple variations, such as sizes, colors, or customization options.

Accessing the Variants Module #

• Navigate to the Settings App.
• Scroll down to Inventory and select the Variants Module.

Viewing and Managing Variant Groups #

• All variant groups will be displayed, including:
  • Clothing Size (e.g., Small, Medium, Large)
  • Meat Temperature (e.g., Rare, Medium, Well-Done)
  • Clothing Color (e.g., Yellow, Blue)
• Select a variant group to view:
  • The name of the variant.
  • The specific variant options available within that group.

Consolidating Product Variations #

• The Variants Module consolidates multiple variations of similar products, eliminating the need to manually input each version.
• Example:
  • Clothing Color Variants: Yellow, Blue
  • Clothing Size Variants: Small, Medium, Large

Pricing and Inventory for Variants #

• Assign retail prices for each variation.
• Each variant can have:
  • Individual inventory tracking.
  • A separate quantity on hand.

Using Variants in the POS #

• In the POS, select a product (e.g., Sundress or Romper).
• The system will display available variant options for that product.
  • Example: Choose Blue and Medium, then add it to the cart.

Checkout and Inventory Management #

• Each variant can be:
  • Tracked for inventory independently.
  • Checked out without manually searching for individual variations in the POS.
